I’m currently working on a nonfiction memoir/humor book that tracks my epiphany that I am old. Yup. I’m ready to admit it. After years of being mistaken for my husband’s daughter or my son’s girlfriend (seriously…I was carded on my 40th birthday) the years have caught up and I’m actually okay with that.

In case you were unaware, November is National Novel Writing Month, better known as NaNoWriMo. It’s an online challenge to write 50,000 words (an average novel) in 30 days. Many top selling books have actually had their beginnings on this website, which encourages the writing process and creativity through technology.
